I'm currently in my final year of school and i have a question regarding free periods. At the start of Term 4 last year my grade kept the same timetables we had in Year 11 meaning that i was doing 8 hours of each subject every 2 weeks and by the end of the term had done 40 hours of each subject. So we have now done 40 of 120 hours for each subject but in a quarter of the year. Meaning that i have 80 hours to complete over the remaining 3 terms.

So my question is, does this mean i will have less subjects every 2 weeks and more free periods when i get a new timetable next Wednesday?

Stop being a bad bitch, he wants to know now

How many units do you have brah? If 12, probably no free periods sorry. I have 12, but 2 units are before school so i have frees during the day. I dunno if that '120 hours' thing is a guide, schools operate differently

The 120 hours are indicative not mandatory and most schools would aim to do more. 4 hours a week is normal for a 2 unit subject throughout Year 12 so 8 hours a fortnight would, I suspect continue throughout Year 12.

I have roughly around the same frees as last year, a lot of my periods got shifted around so my frees were more spread out. But each school has different timetabling systems, as fawun has pointed out, so it really depends on your school?

Without being a technical prick, doesn't 2U count as part of my 4U of maths at the moment. Hence, 3U and 4U account for 2U at the moment.
