I think I remember watching an episode when Kaiba (?) summoned that and he just kept drawing cards and then was like "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA MY DRAGON'S DEFENCE POINTS GO TO TWENTY THREE THOUSAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" *sound effect as little popup on screen counts up to 23000*

and then he somehow lost (i forgot how)
Was he against Yugi?

I had Harpy's Feather Duster (destroy all opponent's magic and trap cards) and Raigeki (destroy all opponent's monsters on the field). Combined was IMMENSELY OP because that's essentially 2K life points gone.

Oh man I'm getting Yu Gi Oh cravings again. Anom, we'll visit some store that still sells decks and we'll just buy 2 random decks and go at it.

:OO We so should (but idk anyone T.T)!! I would buy a deck from work and just play for the heck of it xD

And that looks mad! Never actually seen that until now. And those days of 'fake' cards xD
omg Game Traders sell decks still??? NO way! I thought Yu Gi Oh was dead now. How much is a deck?

Iirc, there used to be real and fake Yu go oh cards. I still dunno how to tell hahah.
4 ways to tell generally.

1. Look at the tiny shiny sticker on the bottom right hand corner of the front of the card. It should have the 'Golden Eye' thing reflecting back. Fake ones didn't.

2. Fake cards are generally quite floppy but real ones don't bend as easily.

3. The back of the fake cards tend to be lighter coloured.

4. The font is usually a bit off for fake cards.

One of the very few memories I have of one of my favourite childhood TV shows. Trying to find a nice rendition of the theme song to learn on the piano actually.

I had toon dragon but I never got toon world so it was useless.. unless I was playing against my friends who didn'tcare and just did stuff for the lols.

And wuutt? Never heard of that but that sounds lame T.T
Basically, both cards are put down facing up. Then each person takes turn to flip the cards. The person who wins is the one that is able to get card facing upwards on top of another card facing downwards, and they keep both cards (it was a form of gambling I would say).

The good times of Year 2/3/4 Cheez tv/Toasted tv.

Yeah same XD.

I still remember that. Its the only episode I remember because this was my only god card.

He lost because he kept drawing and he had nothing to play. When you have nothing in your deck to put down, you automatically lose.

I'm up for it, but I can only just remember how to play.

It will take me ages to decide what cards to put down as well XD.

ahh ok kinda makes sense, but that's nothing compared to the actual Yu go Oh game!

If we do, I'll have to buy a deck from there.

that sorta maybe sounds familiar!

The episode, not that rule about nothing in the deck. The things you learn!

Haha yeah. Good memories.

Do any of you remember when the yu-gi-oh came in the little metal plates and they would have a picture of a card's creature? Was pretty good too.

They had them for beyblades, footy players and a few other things (though these were plastic).

And you could only get them by buying chip packets.

OO yes I do! They still have those, the art work looks awesome. How about exodia? Or however you call him. Where you needed different cards with his body parts?

Truee, but I feel like in person would be better. How do you get the cards though? Or is everything available and you just make your deck?

When you make the deck, you search for the card you want and then you drag it into your deck, much like the console/pc version of the game. The problem with real life is that it costs heaps to make a meta deck, it can easily go 1k+ excluding your side deck. A few exceptions could be budget decks that aren't fun to play e.g. exodia, burn and deck-out decks.

Did anyone make fake cards using that website. I remember making a card "destroy all opponents cards" and I kept drawing pot of greed until I had the whole deck in my hand lol
