If you have already applied for a student concession during enrolment or have declared it every year through MyUni then the sticker/logo image on your student card is sufficient proof.

If you have the transport concession logo on you student card then you've already been granted concession status. (You would have made the necessary declaration of eligibility during the enrolment process)

No need to apply again. Just show your student card when buying a concession ticket.

Thanks passionxmusic and Rafy for your answers! ;)

Last time I showed that logo to the cashier in a newsagent and it seemed like she hadn't seen people showing their student cards as proof. I wasted so much money ...:evilfire:

I had no idea it was their responsibility to check.

The concession sticker on your ID card is good enough.

And yeah, I have never been asked to show concession to a newsagent when buying a ticket, buy yeah it's probably because the sticker is red and looks different to last year
If that happens again, just go to another one
