hey economics ppl, what topic is ur class on at the moment? i swear my teacher goes way too fast, we just finished topic 3 today! isn't there only 6 topics in the prelim course though?
My class has actually just started topic 3
We do go slower but I just love that class as my teacher is amazing! She just knows the perfect amount to do each lesson before our brains die on her... i mean we even have GAME DAY!! i feel like I'm in year 7 again haha

I actually don't mind speeches.

Just sayin'
Me personally, I find them alright because it doesn't require much in depth analysis (usually). But my voice does become a bit shaky when presenting.

Good luck, u'll do well.

Do u know how to balance equation, redox equations, ionic equations and half equations? Cos that's like half the topic.
Um, we're only up to the extraction of metals so far. But other than that, we're only tested on balancing equations.

How are you finding Chemistry?

i was actually considering not coming back this year.....people would think I'm crazy for doing that bc they don't think I'm the type of person to drop out, but i just cant deal with the stress :( i think if i dropped out my parents would disown me..... :|

It's good now, just revising for half yearlies next term. One of the main parts many people found confusing was moles but after practice it was a hek lot easier.
Hopefully the water and energy topic won't be a pain.
How is maths?
Today my school told me that I got accepted into accelerated maths for the 2unit and 3 unit course. I'm going to start next term.
So far I have to do my hsc next year for chem and maths.. a massive work load.

Firstly just take a deep breath and stop stressing, cos stressing will only make matters worse and waste ur time. Just study and think positively and imagine that u have ranked first or have received amazing marks for all your subjects. If u think positively u will achieve them because I know u are a hard worker and smart :)
Good luck in your studies :)

Maths is fine, just really wanna get dat B6.

Wow, accelerated maths? Great job! You must be one of the smart ones!

If you manage your time well, you'll be fine. Besides once you finish HSC chem and maths, you get to spend more time with your other subs, especially English.

thanks. but, the thing is....i don't even know what it feels like to get great marks for anything anymore so its hard for me to imagine that :( I've never been a positive thinker..back when i would get above 90% for most things id still beat myself up and tell myself i was hopeless. now the most i can expect from most of my assessments is like 70 something percent :/
