Is it true that in the hsc exam that only your 2 best sections of English count towards your hsc?

No, it's your best 2 units or the 2 units of English that you do. So basically, a minimum of 2 units of English must count in your best 10 units - regardless of how you perform.

No... All sections of Paper 1 and Paper 2 for English count.

If you only do 2U of English that is...

It is your best 2 units of English, so if you do 3 unit English, you can potentially have one unit of Advanced and one unit of extension one count towards your English mark, however this will depend on whether the total number of units you are studying exceeds 10.

The way it reads, you suggested that it would piss you off if section 2 was a speech. I "hinted" in a thread that section 2 WILL be a speech and everyone flipped out
