Hi there to those reading my thread. I just want to ask few questions about the extra curriculum section for the application I'm going to submit next year (BTW I'm in yr 8).

My extra curriculum stuff would be
Debating
Gifted and Talented
Chess
Participated in competitions
Science gifted and talented program
P.S I'm going to join a public speaking club next year so...

My question is: Are these good enough for the extracirricular activities or no?
If not what else could I participate. Also I'm not really good at sport so I can't really try out for grade sports

You could get a first aid certificate http://stjohn.org.au/first-aid-training
or volunteer for collections for red cross/salvos etc?

they are pretty good, what school are u applying for?

and i suggest u do these if possible
- paid exams such as UNSW science, maths...
- clean up australia day
- red shield appeal
- representative sport
- help out on open days

It's a course you have to sign up too..

You don't have to do a course at a hospital, but it does cost money to get too.
Public - at a venue near you.
Onsite - at a venue of your choice.
Customised - On-site consultation
Online – online training via our E-Learning platform.
