Hi I've got an assignment about how business show corporate social responsibility and I don't know what it means.
A business that engages in legal compliance is not necessarily a business that is a socially responsible corporate citizen.Corporate social responsibility (CSR) refers to when an organisation seeks to meet or exceed legal and normatively mandated standards, by considering the greater good of the widest possible community within which it exists, both in local and global terms, with regard to the environmental, social, economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic impact of the organisation’s way of conducting business and the activities it undertakes.
Technically, CSR is a dot-point from both the Operations and HR syllabus. Can I ask, why is this in the HR part of the business forums?
Example of ''social responsibility'' could be their charitable/fundraising causes.Hi thanks for your reply so with McDonald what would the CSR be?
