Yes, the sentence uses exclamation, but unless the modality of the language is necessary to what you are exploring, it's probably best not to use it as it is a bit vague as a technique. And I am not sure if the sentence is a good example of 'high modality' - I would think an argument with certainty would be a better example of high modality (eg. The world is not flat!).
Perhaps state that the composer creates a sexual tone through exclamation?
