Hi everyone. I was just wondering, is the HSC mark (average of assessment mark/exam mark) scaled? For example, say I got 70% in 4unit maths external exam (which would scale to say 95% for example). When I receive my HSC results in december, will it say 95% in the "Exam Mark" section or 70%? i.e. what mark should I enter into the atar calculator to get a proper estimate? 70% or 95%?

Your HSC Mark will be 95, so you enter that in the ATAR calculator as most use the HSC marks.

Put in the "HSC Mark" into the ATAR calculators.

Your internal mark will get moderated.

It's going to be a lot closer to your exam mark (after alignment), so like the above posts said, your final REPORTED HSC mark is what goes into the ATAR calc

Just saying, but 70% does not align ANYWHERE NEAR 95. Hope I didn't ruin your dreams... :D

True to a worth mentioning extent.

Raw 70 goes to about 90
