Do schools usually give out rankings after each assessment? We don't get to know ranks until they give out half yearly reports

At my school you can go to the staff-rooms and ask your rank

tbh they should do it like in anime where they post it up on a wall lelel

I don't think posting up ranks would be such a good idea, and I wouldn't find it motivating either

At our school, the teachers give out ranks along with the paper after a test and if not we just go and nag

I know some schools do it like this and people get really uptight about it. Generates so much drama in the girl schools I know that do it lelel as if there wasn't enough.

I would be so embarrassed if people saw my ranks...drop throughout the year.

So far.
1st in Econ out of 25-ish
10th-ish, possibly 10 - 15 (?) in Eng Adv out of 90-ish
(Currently) 4th in MX1 (I feel like this will start falling soon...) out of 60-ish (I think)
Probably like last in 2U Maths LOLOLOL out of 100-ish
15th-ish Physics...I hope...out of 50-ish

Schools aren't obliged to, however my teachers were nice enough to disclose ranks wherever possible. Most of the times they didn't was cause they forgot

Your rankings are quite good considering the size of your classes (you're probably underestimating your ranking in 2U )

Ranks are all over the place

But everyone got a band 6 worthy mark in the final exam

Moderation caters for ALL of the students and everyone gets a band 6

Yeah, I think Maths is a pretty noobish department (2016 cohort anyways).
15 people in 4U? But I think thats because a lot of people in my class (top class basically) didn't really like want to commit to 4U.
