This exam was not particularly difficult IMO. I had been getting 95% in the past exams but im looking at high 80s here. Stress rly got to me midway through the exam. It was just unusual that IMO the hardest questions were in the middle. I found the last question much too easy as well as the projectile. So I believe that many found this exam unsuual as there was no hard prijectile but some other bits were difficult, contrasting other years.

ANyone want to hazard what 60-61 raw out of 70 will get me in examination mark? i'd say 94-95
That seems about right.

Also for 9, am I the only person who literally measured the gradient of the tangent with a ruler?

What would 66-67/70 align to? (depending how strict markers are)

Probably around 96-98.

Btw people who keep asking for predictions of their marks, check the rawmarks.info website. You should be able to get somewhat of an idea of what your mark would get you

is there much of a difference between 98 and 100 in terms of the raw marks required?
You can 98 with about 95/96 %. Last year, I believe a 99 didn't even get aligned to a 100. So yes, I would say there is a difference

any chance at a state rank with a 69?
Wondering this too. I'm at 70/70 raw, though I tried to simplify the integral by substitution result and did it incorrectly, if they decide to take that as my answer instead of the perfectly valid result I had before it then I'm at 69/70. Though I'm ranked 2nd internally and I don't know if I can depend on another 69 or 70 so it would be nice to know if either of us have a chance.

Assuming that more than 10 people score 70/70 with top ranks, how do they chose the 10 who get state rank and the person who gets first?

They do weird things...I call them 'micromarks', I'm not sure how it works but I know they pay attention to things in your paper beyond the actual marking criteria. Your internal rank may also affect it. I'm not sure, I'd be interested for someone who knows a bit more to shed some light on it. There are often multiple people on equal first though.

+ Remember the reported Exam mark is rounded, so I'm sure these micromarks would be the decimals which are never seen.
