Only thought interesting since there’s a whole bunch of humanities and then there’s that music as well : o
it's not really interesting as Legal studies, Modern history, society and culture are both hsie subject which shows us that the person has extremely good writing skills because they are doing a bunch of humanities writing subjects. Many hsc students had subjects which would be considered the same group this could be science or technology, a another subject that does not relate to their other subject group so it's not interesting just normal at this point.

You can’t assume those who do most/all humanities have good writing skills although sure that may be true differing from person to person...

If you're bad at writing then why are you doing lots of humanities subject?

So people can’t do humanities subjects simply because they enjoy the subject lol?
I do an humanity subject because i enjoy it, so don't twist my words and no one that's bad at English will choose most of their subjects to be about writing.

Well by your logic, you probably shouldn’t have picked humanities subjects then... will only hint to the mistake with your English in your first line of that message, and no I’m not twisting your words lol I’m not sure how you got to that conclusion?

for the large majority of cases, people who choose to do humanities subjects prefer writing over other stuff - e.g. doing maths.
in that sense, the person is comparatively good at writing, as preference for something is normally due to having more success in it.
@Want90Atar simply made a generalisation which forgot that a person could be bad at something and worse at another.

Thats like saying those who do 4U maths don't neccesarily have to be good at algebra.

Different circumstance, you probably wouldn‘t do 4U if you weren’t great at Algebra. Whereas there may be some people who do all humanities which aren’t particularly the best at writing but still chose them as they enjoy the subject. I’d think the justification for picking a subject is not just because of your abilities but also for enjoyment...

comparative advantage is a good way to put it - i was better at humanities than science (or maybe i just messed around in y11 phys and did shit) so that's why i ended up doing a few
