Ironically, the humanities are more my strong suit than maths. I think I might focus on economics as there is a socio-element within it- in regards to macroeconomics. However, programming seems very interesting, but very tedious. I know people who program, and one guy who is 18, and already has greys starting to show up. He chose programming and computer-science at USYD. We call him old man lol.

Economics has a lot of maths as well - but it tends to be "oh here's the formula without explanation".

That is ok with me, they usually have a directive within its application, so I would know why I would be using that certain formula. For example, z scores or what ever to find out thee spread of whatever is going on financially, or residual standard deviation. That is fine.

ANU although you would have to live in Canberra, which is a downside.

Unless you're talking about Canberra being boring I don't see how living there is a downside especially considering that this person wants to go to the UK. Clearly travel isn't a concern for her.

I am trying to move as far away as possible, from where I currently live. So yes, travel isn't a concern for me.
