Practise questions; your teacher might give you some to do in class anyway, but it might be wise to also ask for practise papers closer to your prelims.

You won't find many past papers for prelim PDH online, so just ask your teacher for your own school's past papers.

You can ask your school for past preliminary exam papers in year 11 to practise.
In year 12, just used the NESA website https://educationstandards.nsw.edu.au/wps/portal/nesa/11-12/resources/hsc-exam-papers
As well as the NESA multiple choice questions https://quiz.nesa.nsw.edu.au/home

I also used to make up my own questions back in year 11 by using the syllabus, helped me top the course lol. It's really not that hard because all the questions they ask directly come from the syllabus.

Don't burn yourself out trying to start them now 😂 wait till you actually start year 11 lol, but it's good to be looking out for resources. Good luck with the rest of year 10 :)

For subjects like the sciences and math, DON'T SLACK OFF. Your year 12 self will thank you.
Stay on top of your notes; use the syllabus for note-making.
But like may22 said, don't burn yourself out. I really burnt myself out back then lol, but honestly don't regret it because it helped me top courses. At the same time, make sure you have a life and are not studying 24/7 because year 12 will be a lot worse.

Also, don't expect to go into term 1 with similar marks to what you were getting from year 7-10. Year 11 is big step up from Year 10, with a lot more expectations. I was shattered in term 1 because I thought I did so well, only to realise that for a lot of my subjects the expectations were a lot higher than I had anticipated. But that's normal, it's part of the learning process; you'll pick yourself up and keep going stronger.

As my English teacher put it, in light of the Olympics this year: "Year 11 is your training, Year 12 is your Olympic marathon."

Yeah, try to have a hobby or extra-curricular activity to take a break. Staying physically active is also important; hit two birds with one stone and pick up a sport 😂
