for the part where they find Z max, the reasoning is it worded wrong? bc like just bc angle at centre of circle is 90 doesn't mean that it is at the centre right? like ik from diagram its clearly centre bc its 90 from the two points but still. also i thought for circle geo it was the diametre being subtended and not just any portion of a circle. im a bit confused on how to approach Zmax bc like i think their explanation is bad.

part ii u let a = -k/x^4 then solve yeah.
for i why do u let a = k/x^4 then sub it in? because like i kinda get that its talking about acceleration but im not sure whats happening. like for ii) its going against acceleration hence negative. but its also going against acceleration for i) so why is it still defined as positive. is is like the value of the accleration itself or smth? im a bit confused.

help i cannot do pulley questions if my life was at stake

i) A has tension to the right, B has tension up and weight force down
ii) Fnet=4mg
5mx..=4mg (the force is for 5m worth of block)
x..=0.8g
x.=0.8gt + c
@t=0, x.=0 (initially at rest)
0=0+c
c=0
x.=0.8gt
x=0.4gt^2+c1
@t=0, x=0 (initially at rest)
0=0+c1
c1=0
x=0.4gt^2
