I dont see how a single gender school would help anyone especially in terms of socialising
I seriously don't think single gender schools should exist. All these schools are stuck in the past attempting to maintain their 'culture' which is stupid in itself because i'm sure the students who go to these schools will eventually have to deal with how to speak and interact with the opposite gender and obviously will struggle to make relationships with said opposite gender....

I don’t get what’s wrong with it … I can see merits for both single and co ed

my school is co-ed but like girls and boys classes are separate, ngl its a blessing coz all the guys moan and moo but then i hate it coz when i go shopping i literally cant even look at the guy cashier
Whats the point of being coed but seperating classes I've never heard of a school doing that haha. And moaning and mooing 🤣 essential aspects of the human experience

i’ve been to both and ig i can’t speak for everyone but there’s benefits and downsides to both. i found that at single gender our teachers are defs more lenient in many aspects (e.g. we can leave during our frees and breaks which ik is smth not a lot of boys schools or coed schools have the privilege of doing) and just the environment is a lot more calm in general and ig at times it’s boring but we still have fun in our own ways and it’s less distracting in some ways. coed was also good but i feel like in general our teachers were always getting stressed out because of certain people (mostly boys 🤣🤣 don’t cancel me pls) and they took it out on all of us which sucked sometimes idk it was chaotic but more fun imo which i appreciate esp for junior years but for senior years i think single gender is sm better

I go to a male school (syd boys) and honestly I love the people there, you can act goofy and everyone's chill, also more people that I share the same hobbies with but holy shit some of us (including me) are actual npcs when coming to women

I went to an all boys Catholic School and I would be dead against sending my kids to a single sex school. They really are a relic of the past and I think they do stunt your social development with the opposite sex. I noticed it in uni as a lot of the guys who went to Co-Ed schools were so much better with girls then my high school mates and I. Of course, the ultimate irony is I ended up working in a female dominated profession, so for me a single sex high school did no favours. It is a modern world, the genders freely mix especially at work, single sex schools really do nothing for your growth.

i currently go to boys only school and i would not ever send my son( if i even want to have "children" ,vomit), the way that some of the kids treat ppl online and in person is fueled by the fact that other people think the same and encourage the behaviour.

no im not tryna sound like a pick me, its just what ive experienced and what the public has to say about us s
