what if i completely miss the point in the short answer and talk about the wrong thing urgh thats like the worst nightmare ever
If you did context for Hag-Seed in Mod-A, you should note we live in a post-structuralist world. Literary texts are not objective and have MANY interpretations. If you can justify your interpretation, it is not wrong.

cant wait to get this crap over and done with to focus on math and science
english is fr the worst subject of all time. I despise studying for it. Maths and sciences are actually interesting to study for because the content is so much broader in a sense and each question actually makes you think about a concept of actual value, rather than whether or not this human experience relates to a text.

english does teach you a lot about your personal response to the world and the enduring impact of texts is fascinating, like this was written centuries ago and it still matters today. it also helps form your critical thinking skills on how to respond to more conceptual ideas about life, and then just talk about random shit thats funny and interests you. i love it cos its broad in that way too.
obviously im more of an english person and youre more maths, and i definitely get that maths is a pattern and process, so basically each subject has a different purpose 🤷‍♀️
