do they always give one broad and one specific or can they give two specific questions - bc i know property for family rlly well bc i had to write a report on it but any other topic im completely lost
the contemporary issues are:
- care and protection for children
- changing parental responsibility
- recognition on same sex relationship
- surrogacy and birth technologies

to be honest im not really sure where property law would fit, maybe in a relationship breakdown but im not sure how that can relate to these contemporary issues

Property fits in under legal consequences of divorce dotpoint, can also be slid into care and protection of children if you have the right cases. As Simic v Norton had an extremely high and adversarial litigation cost. There is an article which examined how it was destroying families, and children.

You should be able to frame most things into care and protection for children, or parental responsibility, if you analyse it through theright lense.

doesn't care and protection in this context mean the care jurisdiction of the children's court under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 (NSW) which is completely separate from family law proceedings and ousts the jurisdiction of the fcfcoa.
