It's so tiring annotating his poems :/ I only just finished doing it today
I wish I did that cause isn’t it like 6 poems. Like NESA is so unfair for prescribing 12 for Plath and Hughes and the fact that my school voluntarily chose it pmoim doing bright star and keats ... anyone doing that?
i think so, but then theres also the movie so in retrospect id say it sorta evens out. but idk i havent touched it yet till my exam on common mod in 2 weeks :/I wish I did that cause isn’t it like 6 poems. I’m prob not gonna really get to mod a before school starts so I’m gonn have to speed run it first few weeks so I don’t fall behind. But honestly movie is easier cause there’s no chance their gonna give a specific extract and therefore u don’t have to memorise like all 12 poems to be safei think so, but then theres also the movie so in retrospect id say it sorta evens out. but idk i havent touched it yet till my exam on common mod in 2 weeks :/
meeAnyone else doing Hag-Seed and The Tempest for mod A?
Talking about the movie 'Bright Star', it's a 2 hours movie with a very slow progression in plot. (but that's the beauty of it + ig good cinematic shots)i think so, but then theres also the movie so in retrospect id say it sorta evens out. but idk i havent touched it yet till my exam on common mod in 2 weeks :/
I searched it up and the movie looks cuteTalking about the movie 'Bright Star', it's a 2 hours movie with a very slow progression in plot. (but that's the beauty of it + ig good cinematic shots)
I just wanted to mention this bc I thought it was funny but I tried watching it two weeks ago and I lost focus within the first 30 minutes :[
My brain just gave up and was like 'nope you can't do this. U need a break'. Could've been the movie's slow start or just how annoying ClickView had lagged captions for the audio, but I peacefully slept for like 3 hrs bc of it XD
I dreaded having to watch the rest of the movie, it literally drained me mentally with how uninteresting the events of the movie occurred.
I ended watching the rest of the movie while eating some random plant-based ice cream I found in my freezer (never tried plant-based ice cream b4 but it was actually Really Good!), as a way of trying to make myself enjoy watching the movie a bit more. Although the movie was intended to create an emotional connection with the audience, I felt detached. The story felt mundane.
It wasn't a 'bad' movie I would say but one that definitely didn't suit what I usually watch.![]()
