Well subject exclusivity isnt based on the difficulty. And plus, i can tell you that media is no walk in the park. U get the feeling that it is, but it's one of those things where u think uve done a great job...until u get your marks back haha. Well dude/dudette, i dont know what to tell ya...

Haha well thats the same as asking why a student enrolled in arts or economics cant randomly do law and med subjects. Just how the way things work. We cant have some random who gets 80 something and does arts, doing subjects that someone else who has worked very hard to get 98 does. :P

Not sure...maybe a money thing or staff thing. Coz for the bsci media comm, in 4th year they had subjects which were specific to media in sci, and maybe coz not enough people did it or something, or no staff, who knows. Im just guessing.

Well maybe its time for you to listen to someone who actually DOES the course. Like me. Most ppl who bag out the MECO course are ppl who dont get in. It's an awesome course where you meet lots of cool people and have lots of fun. Unlike the UTS courses, meco gives u a good broad knowledge...

i do it. first sem was alright, kinda boring, this sem is so far better.

well u could just do normal media and communications. or if u really want to do science, do a normal sci course. im not sure if other uni's have sci media comm.

Hm. Well in the BA one it says ur other major can come from arts or economics faculty, but i think u may be able to do some science as well. Obviously u wont be able to do the specialised sci and media comm subject in 4th yr coz it wont exist. Well there are heaps of media subkjects we do...

Hey, i do media and communications, but the arts one. In the science one u gotta obviously do a major in science, and in first yr uve gotta do two maths subjects and the media subjects. Then in 4th yr, for ur internship, u go to a compnay that deals with science communications, unlike the arts...

if u know ur work, goto advance skills or exam strategy. for those wanting leading edge workshop notes to be photocopied there r two problems: 1) the notes r books, so it will take years to scan and post 2) notes r copyrighted, so bos would get sued if it put notes up
