    Units 2010

I didn't do one then. LOL I'm making up for it now :) ISYS/COMP are interchangeable for the Actuarial/Applied Finance degree, so you only need to do one.

    Units 2010

This semester I'm going to do ACST400, FIN310, ECON350 and COMP115. Next semester I think I'm going to do ACST401, ACCG352, ACCG353 and an elective which at this point in time remains oblivious to me.

    Results!

Cheers man! lol that sucks about the more tests thing :( did they detail as to how they'll (possibly) add in tests? As in, will they make part I, II etc bigger or will they add a part IV?

Haha, got through all my subs. Didn't fail ACST305 like I thought I would :D Actuarial is done! Well, except for ACST400 and ACST401 but meh LOL 1 more year, and then Applied Finance is out of the way too then I'm freeeeeeeeeee!

    Results Prediction Thread

Yeah I see what you're saying lol. The test was pretty weird in that way as it doesn't feel like it's going to aptly differentiate between students.

How the hell did you find the ACST305 exam easier than ACST357? LOL Myself, I don't think I went too flash overall. ACST355 - Pass ACST305 - Fail barring magical scaling ACST357 - Credit ECON360 - Credit Hopefully my tendency to predict conversatively comes through once again lol

However, you'll have to throw a couple of tutorial hours on top of that (say you do 4 subs a semester, that's usually 4 hours of tutes but occasionally a subject won't have a tutorial, or they'll sacrifice 1 hour of lecture time for a tutorial). Also, in 3rd year of actuarial, I've found that...

    2. Assuming you want to go every lecture lol: First year, your timetable will most likely have 5 days a week. Second year, you MAY have to go 5 days a week (if you do a particular double degree, for example) but most likely you'll go 4 days. Third year, I think the actuarial component is...

Haha no problem. 1. I don't believe you're technically REQUIRED, but you'll have to go a 4th year to do it anyway since a couple of 3rd year subs are prerequisites for the subjects which exempt you from your Part II Examinations. The vast majority of students do a double degree not only due...

ACST101 is a joke if you're an actuary lol. Also, for other 2nd semester subjects, ECON111 is pretty straightforward, and ACCG105 is easy too. The only 2 worries for you will probably be MATH133 and ACST211. MATH133 is one of those subjects that takes a while to get your head around, but once...
