    CPA or CA?

Just a question, even though it doesn't apply to me, but can't you just do both the INF and LEGT subject together by overloading, so you can get them both?

    Preparing for Uni Commerce

I too agree the best preparation for any university semester is take a big break. If you're really keen, go to the UNSW bookshop website, type in the course code, find the textbooks in the library, and read them.

    economics a reject of commerce?

If you're that concerned about it's perception then why are you doing it? I don't consider it being a reject of commerce. It allows you to do honours in economics and gives you a different set of majors that you can't do in commerce. Economics is a much more specialised field so the demand for...

    Lectures and tutorials

It doesn't matter. Though it's good to spread out the tutes somewhat incase you have assignments/quizzes due in on the same weeks for different subjects.

    enrolling into majors

By changing majors, if you mean dropping the finance major, then of course it is possible, the 6UOC FINS1612 would just be considered an option. If you want to double major accounting/finance, you can either do FINS1612/FINS1613 in first year, or do FINS1612 and legal environment of commerce...

job prospects for B Eco graduates - good/bad?

With a large number of grads going into accounting or finance, I think sooner or later the demand for economists is going to be substantial.

    Question (Accounting)

If you plan your degree program correctly you should be able to fit all the compulsory LEGT + FINS1613 courses into your degree program. Check the CA website for the prerequisite subjects.

    B commerce/law VS B commerce (international)

It seems to me that you have an interest in business, thus the BCom. If that's the case, then don't do arts - do what Frigid suggested. Do you have even a slight interest in law? If you do, then definitely Com/Law. I find law really interesting and thoroughly enjoy it, and would never pass up...

Need Help with B com/B sci is it a compatoble degree

I would recommend doing a double degree, such as Com/Sci, over a straight degree anyday. There are lots of benefits. As for being in uni longer, well, alot of my straight BCom friends are transfering into double degrees or attempting to do honours in order to delay their entrance into the...

    Commerce: UNSW or Sydney?

That *is* a factor, but is not *the* decisive factor (well for most people anyway). Alot of other considerations would come into play.

B Comm with interest in psych

I'm lazy (and it's late) and I didn't read your entire post. If you want to do commerce and psychology, then BCom/BSc is the way to go. If you want to do a language, you can easily do it as a gen-ed (if it's offered) or do a language course in the holidays.

    Commerce: UNSW or Sydney?

Well, I suppose if you're white, and I'm assuming you are, the social network would be better at USYD, and the social events would be more diverse. Since I'm asian, I have no problems socialising/engaging in the majority-asian social events. Although I do sometimes get pissed with the...

after 7-8yrs they still care about your uni marks?

Yeah exactly, for that amount of money, they can make whatever demands they wish. I suppose your academic results would partly demonstrate your work ethic and attention to detail, which might be of relevance when you're dealing with large-scale transactions.
