i'm not sure how you no you got 93 and it scaled down to 85 but from my experience as long as you do well it scales reasonably well. i dont think it scales down any way, it might align down when contributing to your uai but still if you get a good mark it will make a good contribution.

I dont think its needed as LordPc said its important to stay up to date. i found the best was the leading edge economic updated and the tim (someone) updates. My teacher subscribed to these and then just photocopied them for us but they came in really handy and i think i did reasonably well

i received a preliminary round offer for uts and accepted it changed then i changed my preferences around so the i receive a main round offer for uws

Trust me once you get well into the year you become that busy you just go with the flow then close to the end you begin to love the place and the firends. but the hsc year is hell unless you make it fun, dont forget your social life and firends but always work your hardest. As a great teacher...
