Congrats on getting chosen! What're you playing? And congrats to s_music for your composition too :) In regards to tickets... don't they usually sell out pretty early? I have no idea, the school usually orders our tickets for us lol.

Depends what you're better at. If you like composing a lot, or you get lots of musical ideas, then go for composition. Otherwise choose performance, unless the instrument you play doesn't have much repertoire :)

Lol, totally agree with you there, I go crazy even when I listen to baroque pieces that sound a semitone off. Don't really like playing brass all that much... give me keys or strings anyday :P

Usually I did 2-3 hours on weeknights (cos of homework and all) and then 3-4 on weekends. But since I've finished, I'm not really learning any pieces, so now I play about 30 mins to an hour each day, if I can be bothered ;)
