why do you have to drop? i did both legal and eco, legal gets better in year 12 as opposed to year 11 but can still be fairly dry,
in terms of workload eco is larger, you can minimise workload in legal by looking at past papers especially for options where half of syllabus isn't needed!

Writing in these subjects is completely different to writing in english just because you are good at hisory, eco, legal ect it doesn't mean you are good at english
Not really semings though physics gives you set formulas and extension you dirive them yourself, the understanding in the maths is greater as well and easier to apply once learnt
An understanding of maths is needed for some questions/concepts eg einsteins relativity apart from some simple rearrainging there isn't much
