    Anyone here do strength training?

My, My... I disappear for about a year and i see this topic and think "WOW, they are STILL arguing about this." Only to find that this is a new topic made in Feb '09. I've been on the internet long enough to know everything just repeats it self, but didn't expect it here. Nice to see it is a...

    Muay Thai/Boxers

The most effective martial arts involve bullets and knives. but other than that - - For the Sydney CBD, Try boxingworks.com.au Now, now, i know when you open the site it looks a little... 'commercial'... But go with it. They need something to pay the bills, and CBD Suits are a good way...

    Your Fitness Routine

Good gosh man. Is this a PLAN, or is this your current schedule? Just looking at the leg day, if you are able to do ALL that in 1 session, i would say you aren't going heavy enough. Holy Moly.

    19 y.o. freak bodybuilder

LOL Drug name dropping to build cred. You should have just said "performance enhancing drugs" and been much, much, much more broader and accurate with your info. We had a guy on here a while ago who tried to use a very limited knowledge, with a few name drops, to try and fake super knowledge...

Why Shouldnt You Work Out Your Whole Body At Once?

I highly suggest you stop reading bodybuilding.com as soon as possible. They have obviously already started to misguide you. Bodybuilding.com are like the gym clowns of the internet. They are here for everyone else's amusement.

    Your Fitness Routine

I do not like box squats. Squat deep, it is better than parallel. Parallel is defined as the crease in your hip (when squatting) being equal too or below the top of your knee. Are you training to powerlift? I still personally recommend deeper squats. Actually, i'm going to change over...

Help with my fitness routine - getting too bulky.

I'm sorry, but: How big are you? Height+weight. Gender? ---- Looking over the program you have written, I'd be surprised it you grew at all. Other Q's: - Why are you scared to gain (good) weight? - Ever thought of eating less? Weight has to come from somewhere. Unless you are doing some...

    Flexibility

Stretching prior to training is generally a bad thing. Joint Mobility is not. Do it. Quick note: Bruce Lee was scared of Muhammad Ali. He said, vastly more eloquently, when asked if he would fight him; "Are you f***ing kidding? He's huge, he would crush a little dude like me!", :)

WE ARE GOING OFF TOPIC. I AM SORRY MR. ORIGINAL POSTER. I WILL NOT RESPOND TO THIS OFF TOPIC ANY MORE. If someone replies to it, i will not respond to it, unless it is a new forum topic. I said i would die. Give a 60kg midget with a sword, verse Myself, 40+ kg his larger unarmed, and i...

    Your Fitness Routine

For using a belt, there are good arguments on both sides. And there is also the 'middle-ground' of not wearing one until you get above 85-90%, depending on what your top weight is. I never wore one, but... I haven't trained in 6 weeks! Recovering from a very minor bulging disk in my back...

    Your Fitness Routine

You're doing too many deadlifts. I mean, Do what you can handle, i've done 8 sets of 3 twice a week, but the strong lifts routine only calls for 1x5 in the deadlifts. Even though you can handle the 5x5 deadlifts, you may want to consider the 1x5, and go heavier? Anyways, its a solid routine...

    Flexibility

Kendo is a bloody weapon art. Not comparable. I could give a 60kg 12 year old a sword (with NO training), and I (10 years his senior, and 40kg above his weight class) would killed. Quickly. Should be obviously redundant to say, but blades will mess you up. Weapons change everything. We are...

    Flexibility

This made me chuckle in a couple of ways. TKD pretty much has limp arms, and is all about flying around kicking. Yes, I am taking the phrase over-literally. Second, TKD is waaaaaay more ART than MARTIAL. At best, it is a sport. Outside of that, it is more a limited form of leg-dominate...
