does anyone know a rough number of the number of people that sit the gamsat each year? for the umat i remember it was around ~15000 and i don't know where on earth i found that out so thats why i'm asking here!

does it have to be Medical Science or can it be any course really? Over here there is no prejudice over doing a M.Sci or just a BSc for example.

has anyone heard - or can shed some light - of transferring from optometry to medicine? it's the closest offer to medicine that i got and it's not a bad fallback in case the word comes to an end. at the moment my first pref for my local uni is a science course.

i've read that some universities simply take the GPA cut off as a "hurdle" whereby obtaining a credit or above will suffice for entry into Post grad medicine and there are other universities that use the score in conjunction with the GAMSAT and interview. Where does UWA fall into this?
