  • Ah, they're bearable I suppose. Fast bowlers were definitely worthy of 'FFFFFFFF'.

Holy, any injuries? =P No box to protect the jewels? =O

Lol, I don't know, it was just a random suggestion. xD Yeah they should, though did you remember that guy who got pregnant and went all over the news for days? *Shivers.
Yes, it's quite scary actually when you have your express bowler bowling and you're about 2cm away from the stumps. >_>

Lol, yes, quite painful to be hit with one, even with protection like leg pads and the box. =P

:O Buy jeans. =P And thankfully no, nor do I hope to ever meet one.
Well, I was keeping and I didn't get a helmet! Yes, the ball isn't as hard as a real one but it does sting a lot, I remember getting hit on the leg as well. Hurt.

Don't worry. A T-shirt and jeans should suffice. =P Eh, anything that works. And responding the words of Max Barry, I understand the meaning but now I'm thinking of those guys who've lost their penises and slowly walking back from you. =P
Haha, we should definitely do that. But sometimes just having a couple more people over that halfway line wouldn't hurt. =P

Ahh, that's encouraging. Good to know there's no prohibition.

Nice. I don't know about that image department thing though. I just picture them to be extremely fussy over what you wear to the point of explosive agitation. xD
LOL I always managed to sneak in another into the batting half without the umpire noticing. =P

Sigh, we are so bad right now. NSW are a better team than Australia!

Congrats mate! Hi-5 for that piece of awesomeness! I agree UNSW would have friendlier ones though.
Everyone field at silly positions and whisper at the same time!

Hauritz I think what he lacks in spin, makes up in flight and bounce, similar to NZ's Vettori. Anyway, that's not gonna stop Australia from losing this test as well. o_O

Hmm so far and few? Did you chat to any of them to 'improve' your communication skills? ;)
Hmm, it's worth a shot though. Someone distract the umpire!

Beer - today, he hasn't bowled that well, doesn't look threatening at all. Hauritz I don't know, his grip probably doesn't extract enough spin for him.

There should be plenty. Did you see any today? ;)
If we play during indoor, sledging will be resorted to the phrase, "Stop being a North!" =P

I too like Hauritz although I reckon he could do wonders if he learnt to spin the ball more. Haha, may as well make Michael Beer vice while you're at it! Oh did you see his 'wicket' today? Agonising no-ball. Shame.

Yeah, I loved the atmosphere and the post-modern buildings to which I admit I'm a fan of. Everything's very linear as opposed to USyd's sprawl though walking down and up the main walkway will definitely give you a work out. =P
North will enter Australian folklore, you watch. =P True about Smith I suppose.

And dude, Hauritz has been like epic for NSW since he was dropped. Five-fors galore and two consecutive centuries. No. 6 problem solved!

Probably not, I'll rock up next year though since I've already been Open Day.
Haha, I reckon North will become legend. I mean getting single digit scores for 5 Tests and then a century to save his innings! And the cycle continually repeats... =) Steve Smith I reckon should spend more time in first class and ODI before becoming Test material. Though he looks promising in some of his innings. Admittedly he bats better than many top order players currently (i.e. Clarke).

280 is slightly competitive but with England, they seem to be capable of chasing down anything.

I suggest we have a bat-out AND bowl-out to to determine the better player. =P
They have too much depth, something the Aussie squad is severely lacking in. Heck, even some of our first team players are crap.

Our batting is just...so typical. Top order collapses, tail wags, we end up with some score not thought possible an hour ago. =P

And why chess my friend? Even though I could probably destroy you, I don't see much relevance to indoor! =P
LOL, yeah. But like, England's attack is insanely good now and getting through that first hour with the ball swinging like mad is always difficult so it's still pretty solid effort.

But yes Khawaja decided to take the bowlers to the park. =P "Khawaka" - =L

I resent that discrimination! I'll be fine with vice-captain and then entering Second year, I will formally take over the position of captain! And I think I'll assign one of my friends that role of drinks deliverer. Sounds very... unmotivating to say the least. =P
But test style is awesome! Just look at Rahul Dravid! I mean 6 runs off 106 balls is pretty epic! =P

And excuse me, but I believe I have expressed interest in a senior position? =) I have adamantly refused to accept the drinks getter job.
Yes, I remember my team had one specialist batsmen and though he absolutely pummelled any bowling attack, when it came to his turn to bowl....well....a shot along the ground would be a miracle (as opposed to a flying six over your head).

Haha, good luck in your quest my friend! I may or may not go at this point, though I'm hoping I can find someway to go; then we could meet up!
Heck, let's just start an all Asian comp while we're at it. But no, two WACAs are fine!

About that final. Nice to know Asians will soon dominate both academia and cricket! =P

I reckon there has too be at least a few. Making connections and friends at uni shouldn't be too difficult given the sheer number of people there.
UNSW should have plenty Asians there. At least some of them should have an interest in cricket!

And if that doesn't work out, one year later, I can bring along a whole squad of Asian players from my school. :L
*Sigh, at least these brain snaps occurred when they already had achieved a nice healthy score rather than on single digit runs *proceeds to glare at Ponting, Clarke and North.

Haha, OK then forget the lawsuit. We'll just plough along being the uber WACA team!
Hughes? Yes, frustrated it was also the last ball to lunch. But seriously? What was he thinking we he went for that half-hearted push? I'm sure we both could have dealt with that ball easier. I mean, it was there to leave....*sigh

Well, I have relatives over there and them and us 'Eastern Australians' are always arguing over random stuff. =P
Yay! Haha, I don't like Clarke much either though he's still a Western Sydney home boy.

Haha Shane Watson. That guy needs to focus on converting half centuries into centuries and not getting out edged or LBW all the time rather than ponder over the captaincy. =P

And I dunno. You know how Western Australians feel. Isolated from the better part of the country (i.e. us), so I figured they would do anything to get one over us.
Yes, yes definitely do it. Then I will have the comfort of entering next year knowing there's actually a comp on!

Khawaja, with such a style, seems to be perfect for the no.3 position, adds a lot of stability to a very unstable line-up. Hussey, though given his experience, I doubt is captain-material though Haddin obviously already has experience domestically so there's a band-aid solution since he's unfortunately ageing as well. But yeah, there's really no one else. And don't say Ponting! =P I don't know about our tail, whether Beer will or not! LOL

Suggest to Arc the WACA, though we may be engaging ourselves in some copyright thing that prohibits us from utilising the name of a well know association and stadium!
