worst was english with 92.. disappointed i didnt get higher though as i fucked up that very frankenstein essay in the hsc lol. Probably wrote a 12/20 in the actual exam ._. Choked in the big one.. dont fret though; it's a pretty solid essay to get you started. I was 4th in that, and ranks 1,2 and 3 got 96, 96 and 97.. so ye i blew it big time. I was probably a little too overconfident that id do well in it.
Well, work close to full capacity 5-6 weeks before your trial hsc - because, i'm not kidding, this period will be hell. We're talking brains bursting at the seams here people!!
After the trials well there's a bit of a resting period, no one does any work for a few weeks. But after the trials, you should feel like your close to set.. so its cruise control from there on in. But ye work hard before trials without killing urself.
Keep fresh by watching movies/tv maby? Anything that doesnt remind you of work

lol thanks, but trust me the hsc isnt as hard as people make it out to be!!
i studied when i felt like it, which was probably 3-4 days in a week; averaging 1-2 hours in those days.. mainly because i was confident i would only need to study that amount. I has a pretty good short-term photographic memory ^^. Wouldn't recommend it with tougher subjects like chemistry and physics though!! they probably need a lot of work
My main advice though is to keep your mind healthy and recognise the subject that needs most work on.. because that's what will scale you down in the end - your worst subject.
Also, just don't overload now and peak at the wrong time. I knew plenty of guys who smashed me in the trial but slackened during the actual exams, getting lower marks than me.. :s

wow haha really? the hsc went so slow for me.. you must be really dedicated lol. Half way through i felt like i wanted to drop out and become a farggin brick layer or sum shit ;(
English *does* suck but once you get into the knack of making really sophisticated essays... its like a work of art that you want to fapfap to.. im sure you've felt the same way amirite ;D

I got 98.35 doing subjects such as sor, legal, eco, mx1 and english.. now doing commerce at unsw with the rest of asia town.
