Which degree is more highly recognised by employers?

To the OP.. if you're looking towards the finance field, a single degree isn't going to put you in a 'competitive' position. Especially with many people doing com/law with decent grades looking towards finance, especially investment banking. However, a good grade (D+) in an Economics single...

    Commerce/Arts at USyd or UNSW

Sem 1 ECOS2903 FINC2012 FINC3017 ACCT1006 - undecided on whether to take ACCT1006/INFS1000/MKTG1001. Any insight into these 3 units would be great!! :D Any tips regarding taking both FINC2012 & 3017 together? Heard it was crazy to take up both and attain a decent grade in both..

All those applying for transfers post here!

Hi Rono. Just an insight regarding transfers to UNSW. It's widely said that external transfer (i.e. through UAC from a different uni) is comparably harder than an internal transfer (within the same uni), which is available at UNSW. If you're wanting to study Comm/law at UNSW and have been...

urrh this is extremely strange. I got accepted into this course when my atar is lower

Re: urrh this is extremely strange. I got accepted into this course when my atar is l I'd probably guess that some unis may inflate cutoffs slightly for specific courses. Purely for reputation reasons..
