  • Thanks :D

I had to +rep you and congratulate you on the 99.95 :) Nice one. I'm going to try and enjoy the most of Year 12 I can.
    ooo kk
So basically, just pay attention and chill :D..for now LOL

    tyvmm hahah
Your awesomeness aura has motivated me to aim high :)
Best wishes for the future ~
    Philip
    Wow. I've learned even more!

I really admire you on how you had insight on when to drop / swap / add subjects.
I hope that when the time comes for me, that I'll know what subjects to keep, drop, or add.

Omg, you have talent in all areas; English, Math, Science, Humanities~!
You even completed an accelerated course! *Grinds teeth in envy*
What do you do to apply for an accelerated course? I think it's already too late for me, though ><"

Thanks for all your help, it's very much appreciated ! =D
    I'll always remember your advice.
    WENNDYYY!!!!

Oh my. I feel like I've been struck by lightning.
I have learned more in your one post than my entire time browsing and reading these forums!

Your post should be published! Something along the lines of:
"The TRUTH Behind Extension Courses and SUCCESS in the HSC"
Something like that. All I can say is thanks and wow.

I think the most important thing that I've learned is to choose subjects that require similar skills to do well in. Furthermore, because of you, I understand why people choose extension courses and how to use them to your advantage.

My previous subjects were too distinct, and I'd have to cover a broad range of areas.

Thank you for giving me new insight!
    I'll rep you ASAP!!!!
Nawww ahaha. So i'm extra special ^^

Thanks but i have no idea what i'm doing for NYE. It'll be a spur of the moment decision hehe.

I hope you had a Merry Solstice and you Enjoy the New Year :D
    Hello Wendybird,

A very belated congratulations on your amazing ATAR.
I've read a lot of your posts in the forums.

You're doing an excellent job "defending the humanities" =D
    Happy holidays and congratulations again.
Hey there, it's Daniel Pinkerton from Music 1. Congrats on achieving 99.95. I knew you would get some crazy high ATAR, I could tell from when you started talking about your ext 2 study of the rebel. Pretty sure Bernard was pretty flabbergasted with just how smart you are as well. What an awesome mark, I'm very jealous. I ended up with 90.00 lol. You smashed it.
Agreed, however your knowledge of religious texts (and everything else lol) exceeds mine by far, and for that reason your points carry much more weight/credibility than mine. But I do agree with what you said wholeheartedly.
    Ok thanks :)

Verity Firth might be an option. Even Kineally.

But first I think we need to have viable alternatives to present to them.

That Brian Greene book sounds good; though after going through Cosmo I don't know whether it will be 'dumbed down'.
Sikhman and myself have been discussing what we can do about distinction courses. We have a few ideas.

(I keep on forgetting his name... :( Is it ajeet?)
Yes, I'm a Gosford boy, although a wee '10er. I've known Nat since year 5, and Sarah's my girlfriend so I'll say hello to her from you when I see her. Congrats again on an awesome atar =) Oh, and by the way thanks for all the info about the philosophy course you posted, I'm doing it next year and it was very helpful.
Wow. That's ridiculous. If only I'd known... (just kidding :p)

I am much more motivated right now, and I think it's much better. The free scholarship would be good however. Oh well.
Well the comb. med courses just guarantee you a place in grad med, so they can snag all the 99.95ers.

Though I think it gives me more motivation. Do you think you can relax having gotten 99.95? That's what I'm relying on :p
Nah, I didn't get an interview - atar was 0.1 off.

Will do advanced science and then med. I have an extra 4 points I don't need now :p

I'm assuming you got to do your law stuff?
Exactly. And to add to it, we had around 12 people drop, most between Res1 and Res2. It's not a breeze, and it was the hardest subject for me, especially doing all the readings.
