    Titration calculation formulas?

Be wary when using the dilution formula for the neutralisation part of titration, that it only works when the reactants in the neutralisation reaction are at a 1:1 ratio.

    Model an Equilibrium reaction

I like the candy/chocolates method of modelling it. It's where you have 20 pieces of chocolate or candy on one side of the table, and you take 50% and move it to the other side of the table. Then you take 25% of the 50% that you moved, and move it back to other side. Repeat this process till...

    Anyone 100% with their content?

What I always say is: "You can never be 100% with your content, there will always be something else that you don't know" This applies to all subjects.

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive I got 11.57, not sure why people are making equations, because the question said that it accidently excess spilt 13.5 mL, into the mixture, indicating that the guy spilt extra Ba(OH)2 into the already neutralised solution. Unless I interpreted the question...

    External Stability

Monetary policy can also change the interest rates via domestic market operations. These changes can influence investment patterns. For example, an increase in interest rates will cause an increase in foreign investment, resulting in a surplus in the KAFA due to capital inflow, and a deficit in...

Equilibrium level of national income question

    For questions like these, the two formulas you need to remember are: S = I Y = C+ I So in this question: -40 + 0.2Y = 200 0.2Y = 240 Y = 1200

    NAIRU multiple choice question

Something also worth considering is demand-pull inflation occurring when the economy is at NAIRU. If the government uses macro policies to increase AD in attempt to decrease unemployment further, then demand-pull inflation will occur as the increase in demand will cause prices to bid upwards as...

    HSC 2015 Economics Marathon

Re: 2015 HSC Economics Marathon The reason why I disagreed with your answer was because it was incomplete. The term A curve I got from my teacher, who said that it looked like an A without the middle line.

    HSC 2015 Economics Marathon

Re: 2015 HSC Economics Marathon I also don't agree with this answer. Its true that if tot improved, then in the short run the currency will appreciate as export prices have increased, hence increased demand for AUD (you can also say BOGS will be in a surplus). However in the mid to long term...

Any point doing hsc short answers?

You shouldn't be doing past short answer questions for the sake of knowing whether or not they will be asked in the HSC. You should be doing any and all short answer questions (that are contextually relevant) in order to refine your responses as well as knowing what details to include or exclude...

How is the 'budget outcome' a tool of fiscal policy? Topic #4

Well they use the budget outcome to coordinate future policy decisions as well, because as the OP said, it is a form of indicator. I guess it's like a two way street where policy decisions influence the budget outcome, and these policy decisions are influenced by the current budget outcome.
