Computer science at UTS UNSW or USYD...your experiences/opinions?

UNSW should be your last priority, USYD would be better for you.

Why is the IPT forum dead?

Just felt like posting this for some reason but I have a soft spot for IPT compared to my other subjects that I did better in. I loved IPT.

    Srs uni helppp

Your best bet is at UTS. If you achieve over the minimum ATAR (which is 69, law requires 80) and you're eligible for SRS, then they will accept you.

    1. Simply search up the difference between a motor neuron and a sensory neuron 2. Why do we need micrographs to view neurons? Size, structure, etc. 3. In a nutshell, a minimum threshold needs to be met in order to generate an action potential

What you wish you knew before starting UNI

Most people will normally worry about job availabilities once they graduate (especially if you're in science), but this advice is mainly for education students. Do not worry AT ALL because from the placements you'll be doing during your undergraduate and maybe postgraduate if you continue, it...

    Enrolment

If it's before the census date and there is space in that different class time then yes you can still re-enrol.

    Enrolment

As in re-enrolling a different time like next semester/year or the same semester?

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

Can postgraduate medicine debt be deffered to HECS?
  9. BlueGas

    Enrolment

You enroll for all the subjects you'll be doing in that year. If your schedule changes then you can just withdraw before the census date.
  10. BlueGas

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

Oh they don't? I didn't check but I just assumed they would've because it is considered a 'prestigious' uni.
  11. BlueGas

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

Wait so it isn't possible at Usyd then? Even if you do have a few volunteering activities on your resume?

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

Is it possible to get into med school if you do well in GAMSAT but the only work experience you have is back in Year 10?

    Help

Yes you can do a Master of Teaching. All it requires is an undergraduate degree and it doesn't matter what you do. EDIT: Just double checked and it DOES matter what you do. But in you're case, you probably have met all the requires anyway. Here's what you need for English/History at UNSW.

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

Yeah I just realised how unrealistic my expectations have been. So what job would I start earning 100k after say 5-7 years or so? Is that still unrealistic?
  15. BlueGas

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

A job that doesn't take a couple years to start earning 100k/+
  16. BlueGas

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

Aren't there any haematological related positions with needing to do medicine that pay well?
  17. BlueGas

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

I just want to be financially dependent without ever having to worry about expenses.
  18. BlueGas

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

Damn it. I just don't know what to do anymore.
  19. BlueGas

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

How about if I wanted to become a sonographer? Currently doing biomedical science so what would I need to do? Because the salaries are quite great for this position.

What's needed to get into a Pathology?

Also is it really worth it? I'm passionate about specialising in Haematology but not getting a proper job until I'm 32 years old is abit ridiculous. Anyone know other job positions related to haematology that pays 100k+ early?
