Like for the last gazillion years. I assume it will stay that way. (If we're talking advanced that is - I don't know about standard). Unlike AOS, Module C advanced is just harder - so I can't see them making kids talk about such a heavy conept and 2 ORT's!

is 12 days enough to memorise 4 esays?

Treat it like you would a science subject, right? You're not walking in word-for-word ready, nor are you walking in and just 'make it up.' You know, in Chemistry you learn a shitload of notes, content, even definitions. Then when you get asked a question, you answer that question with your...

anyone looking for a state rank?

Isn't it luck to a large degree? I mean in reality, when you're talking about 99+ as an ATAR, or 97+ in a subject - doesn't whether you get a 97 or a 99 nearly come down to that little headache you had that morning, or that awkward 7 mark question, or that damn dog that kept barking out the...

Our teacher is a champ. He also 'hates' having marking to do, you know like the people that do their chores because then they feel more relaxed when they chill out? Bastard had them marked before school ended on monday. Plus there is only me and another kid doing it :P

    I got 78% ... Close to an E4?

    Ready for physics tomorrow?

It was eassyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I'm sure anyone that does chem and maths would understand. I mean, its half the content of chem, and half the difficulty of maths :\ Annoying longer questions though, I just hate writing that much

Since it was formed on a circle, the height was 2 r^2 + h^2 = 4 r = 2 (radius of the things), therefore height is 2 when the radius is 0 (at the centre point)

    With the pairs of numbers a^2 + b^2 + c^2 = (a + b + c)^2 - 2(ab + bc + ac) And also \bg_white%20\fn_jvn%20x^2y%20+%20x^2z%20+%20y^2x%20+%20y^2z%20+%20z^2x%20+%20z^2y%20=%20x^2(y%20+%20z)%20...%20etc Using x + y + z = 5 (or whatever it was) y + z = 5 - x If you sub them in for each of the...

Got it all until i hit that induction (6). Got 4/5 of the rest of the parts out, except for that weird numbers question... Think i got about 8/15 on question 8! it wasn't as bad as some of the past trials thank god!

    ...The Road Ahead

Well, not RIGHT now, probably 85 is easy, but hell - if you're getting 85, or even 80 at the trials, and you have i think its 12.5 weeks until chemistry, its not a bad assumption :P

    Trial or HSC

On the note of trials. If, in the remaining trials I have a margin of 10-25% between myself and rank 2, does it really help if i were to extend that further? Or is it kind of a moot point with the remaining exams...? (the ones with the big margins)
  12. C

    Trial or HSC

High rank + bad hsc = low atar low rank + good hsc = high(ER) atar
  13. C

    ...The Road Ahead

Rather than 'revising' i think I plan to go back and carefully go through my notes, making sure there aren't any holes. I mean, getting 90+ in an exam like chem is easy, but pushing those last few marks might require a bit more perfection :\

    CSSA chemistry

Its the same thing. Muzeik's is just an oxidation half-equation from the table, yours just has spectator ions on either side :)

    CSSA chemistry

Re: CSSA Chemistry 2011 MC was lengthy, and took a lot longer than I expected. Shipwrecks sucked - but we only just finished that. I thought the 55 marks of short answers were actually pretty straight forward, but I'm not sure, maybe being heavily maths-orientated the calculations didn't seem...

    English trials?

From what I know, the first criteria on marking is 'student effectively responds to the question given'. I'm memorising an essay for Module C - you can. I'm memorising a range of short, probably 'a third of ap aragraph' ideas - 30 of them, for Module B - and stitch them together I'm memorising...
