Did you notice they seemed to be repetitive? Like honestly, I couldn't follow it too well. They would be like 'time to explain what a motor is', then they'd explain it again. Then with the generator, they'd explain it again. I find it amazing that a subject that aligns so well has questions...

Our maths co-ordinator and curriculum co-ordinator have had a look at some of the new curriculum drafts, and it looks like conics will be gone within the next year or two. Not fair.

At first. Dot point 3/4... seems a bit nutty at first but once you make enough notes / do enough prep it will eventually come. Similar to circle geometry, or permutations and combinations. Difficult to start.

Just out of curiosity... isn't the ranking more to do with your relative ATAR to the people in your school, rather than the absolute atar? E.G. Rank 1 =/= 97.XX, but rather leads to the top atar, even if that may be 90?

Thank god for 1U. Circles are evil. 4U has an evil habit of making things like parametric equations, polynomials, integration, and graphs from 3U look like the easiest and most fun topics in the world. On the note of 4U - I put forward Conic Sections.

Drop it. Every minute you spend on modern is a minute you don't spend on the others. Every minute you don't spend on the others takes away time (on average) for marks that affect your atar.

Stop doing fun stuff. Stay inside like a hermit like me. If you avoid parties, and anything else fun in life study seems like a treat!

It really is a matter of HOW you go about writing the notes, not just the medium you use. I type all my notes. I even type up my maths notes these days. The main reason is organisation. You have control - you can edit, cut, copy, shrink, enlarge, add a picture, highlight a section, add some...
