australian maths olympiad i go to a private school but i don't wanna say where because i'm not really comfortable revealing too much on the internet

chem, bio, phys and ext1 english i'm not that smart there are lots of people better at maths than me, met a fair few people at AMO workshops who are just wow but i really like maths and want to ace it

reminds me of my former maths tutor who got 100% in all his 3u assessments except for his trial where he got 87% because he broke up with his gf the night before turns me off having a relationship in year 12 rofl

yes it is possible, private schools certainly allow it for certain students, not sure about selective though

maybe give it a go and yeah, drop it if you find it difficult to cope i kinda do my own hw and choose my own questions to do based on how i'm progressing with a topic and my teacher isn't really stringent on hw so long as i'm doing something

i mentioned i was doing 4u accelerated a few posts earlier lol so im getting 4 out of the way this year

i really enjoy maths so i didn't hesitate to take it up you do need to know how to manage your time effectively though

it does, im finding that 4u is making 3u seem a lot easier now in a similar way to how 3u made 2u seem a tad easier

i really want to drop chem and go into year 12 with 7-8 units (not sure if i wanna take up extension 2 english or not next year)

there is a bit of overlap but 3u is quite a bit harder

strongest: maths, im doing accelerated 4u this year so im mainly focusing on this sub too weakest: probs bio or chem, bio is easy but doesn't interest me, chem is just rly ehhh
