How much are regular uni fees opposed to full-fees?

and do not have any sort of concession (I know it's supposed to be that way, since the concession is provided by the government (with your tax money, I know), but I still feel kinda sad)

How much are regular uni fees opposed to full-fees?

International students pay full fees. For an engineering degree it would be about $26000 (this year, next year it will probably go up)

    general UNSW chit-chat

Yeah, I'm doing Finite, that's why I have 3uoc which I don't want to spend on gen eds (since I don't know what to do, and the good ones are unavailable in sem2). I'm hesitating because this (or Higher) will mess up my timetable and I'm sure if it's interesting/useful. wow thanks for that! I'll...

    general UNSW chit-chat

Please tell me, should I do MATH2520 Complex Analysis (3uoc) in first year sem2? (or 2620-the higher version) The pre-req is MATH1231 but maybe I can beg my way in, should I?

    Discrete maths 1081

I really hope that's the case...but Proof is my least favorite section of all, maybe more than modular arithmetic (which is, as you say, more computation stuff like the algebra strand in maths 1a). How's 3rd year maths actually? They sound pretty hard to me.

    Discrete maths 1081

You should absolutely do it, many people will tell you it's the best kind of maths ever. And I have to agree though I'm not good at it. It's definitely more interesting than normal maths, you won't regret it. I personally think it is good preparation for some courses such as MATH3411...

    The 'I should have...' Thread

Let's waste more time mourning over exams. It's good for your mental health, keeps at least 10% of your brain from rotting away like the rest. I should have known what I should have done before the exams.

    Dig up the course outlines

I'm sure I'm not the only one frustrated by the 'descriptions' of the courses in the handbook and went looking for the detailed course outlines but had no luck anywhere. So for people looking for ARTS/MEFT/similar course outlines (better be sure you want to do them, or else they'll bore you to...
