I think MTV2 is supposed to be the "alternative" version of MTV... it plays stuff thats supposed to be less mainstream, but in reality, its still pretty mainstream. Its very easy to tell, I've developed a pretty knack for finding it... mostly from watching shows like Top of the Pops...

Yeah figured, and the singer was hired cos she was the "nice one", they did the same thing with Popstars (remember that? no I guessed not), where Jackie O was the "nice one"... yeah, your point aobut it being "too much tv and not enough music" is definitely true.

yeah, the audition episodes were the only ones of interest. the whole show is just so artificial and commercial... sure they have "talent", but theres no character, no uniqueness, no creativity and no art.... although, admitedly I like dickos comments...

The only good bit was the 5 seconds they showed the MTV2 nominations with Interpol and Queens of the Stone Age and when Coldplay played... and they actually sung! no lip syncing! unlike say, 50 cent and Beyonce... :rolleyes:

Everytime a bunch of Christians come up to me to have a chat or survey or something, I ask them all sorts of tricky questions, that never get answered... If they're gonna bother me about my beliefs and push theres on mine, I might as well screw with there heads a little and "preach" some...
