yeah the final exam is what makes or breaks you really, personally I made up a shitload of ground of every1 else in 3u english last year purely because of a decent HSC exam mark.... also on the flipside take an example of a friend of mine..... school assessment in 4u english was 50/50...

yeah "external marking" in this case is when teachers from different schools swap their students essays with those from other schools. However your teacher may do what our teachers did and just do that for a sample amount to get an idea as to what marks and what the standard is, from memory...

look up the careers website at sydney uni and they have stats on what jobs ppl get who do certain degrees. There is prolly one there for liberal studies the site is something like careers.usyd.edu.au otherwise search google
