syd uni will only look at ur GPA of any degree that you have completed. in other words as timmii said you could do an arts degree and as long as ur GPA was good enough you will be considered the snag is that for GAMSAT u need a first year uni knowledge of phys chem and bio, how u get that...

im more of a reader than a poster but just restrict urself to ur subjects and the school forum and u should be kewl, although with more and more ppl signing up I guess there will be more and more to read which could eventuate in more time wasting.... gets back to self discipline i suppose...

ended up choosing commerce (liberal studies) at sydney universitiy lets me do my economics and finance majors as well as be a bit artsy at the same time to fit in a history (or similar) major as well four years against 5 years for com/arts which is pretty usefull and i still do 3 majors...

yeah timii im up for a career in finance somewhere as well, investment banking sounds pretty mad and i guess a combined law degree gives you a great platform to launch from, nevertheless there is much of a muchness between a commerce or economics degree with honours as compared to a strait...

either com/law at usyd or strait commerce, dont think i could be bothered sitting through law lectures
