Of course the government is not going to change the drinking culture. They were stupid to think they ever could.

I know quite a few girls who get drunk off 2 or 3 drinks.... I don't think it is that unusual.

No. I had a bit more than 25 drinks on NYE... and another 17 or 18 last night. I wasn't particularly drunk either night though. I think I am building up a tolerance.

I don't know anyone who doesn't drink. That isn't true. I drink a lot and have only ever had that happen to me about 3 times and even then it was only part of the night that I didn't remember.

It's funny how whenever statistics turn up showing it has been warmer it is unquestionable evidence of global warming yet whenever you see some that that show it has been colder they are completely irrelevant because "temperatures oscillate in the short-term." The recent rise in temperatures...

It depends mainly on how intelligent you are and how much time you are willing to invest... and there is no UAI equivalent because uni is a different kind of learning than the HSC, you generally can't get away with memorising stuff.

There are certain circumstances where they will accept people with lower UAI's... like if they don't have enough people to fill up the course. I have heard of people being accepted with UAI's 10 or 15 points lower than the cutoff.

I think if you have turned 18 you need to get a new adult passport... you can't renew your old one. You need to fill out a form, get pictures taken, have someone else sign to say the pictures are you, and submit the form at the post office. It shouldn't take any longer than a month to process...
