    4 unit maths class structure

I had 18 maths periods a fortnight... 2 lessons every day except mondays. Although occasionally we had a random catch-up class for 4u on monday afternoons.

    4 unit maths class structure

We had one class of 3u and one of 2u, then the rest of them. The 4u people were in the 3u class, then we had 4u classes on top of that, on the other half of the ext 1 line, because they're both extensions and don't take up a full line. So when the 3u people had a free, we had 4u, and...

    Any instrument players?

^^^ Congrats on getting your A.Mus ^^^ I'd probably be labelled as weird if I named my main instrument, because I'm a singer...But one of my friends named his cello Helga.

    What instrument do you play?

Deal with it. You'll never like everyone in life. I was simply making the comment that there is a thread pretty much the same as this one, and it's still in use. The only real problem I had with this thread was the fact that saxophones were put under brass, which they're not. I play...

    What instrument do you play?

Already been done. Try this thread; Any instrument players? And next time try putting the saxophone under woodwind.

Who's the YOUNGEST 2005 HSC Student in here?

Hey wow! I feel old for a change... I'm the 2nd youngest in my grade, 20th June, but I'm old compared to some of you guys!

    Anyone else?

I was studying the other day, and came across a uniform circular motion question. Having just finished the resisted motion in 4u, I discovered that I can't actually do it the physics way any more. It just doesn't seem right. Also, it's the same with projectile motion from 3u. It's now actually...

What happens at YOUR Graduation/Last Day?

Ours was Thursday. We had breakfast at school in the morning, lots of photos and some tears. Then we had the formal assembly at 11, with the usual speeches and musical items, and more tears. Then there was lunch and signing of our shirts, then our "Year 12 Spectacular" wich was absolutely...

    Anyone play the fiddle...

*Note* Hatred of recorders comes from years of being forced to listen to primary school kids playing in a recorder choir. Like, 20 of them at a time. *Shudder*

    Anyone play the fiddle...

How could anyone possibly miss knowing Matt when he's in your year? Course I know him!

    Anyone play the fiddle...

mizosoup, have a look around on the internet, there's loads of free sheet music sites, you might find a piece that takes your fancy there. I know violins can be played pizzicato, but they are conventionally played with a bow. And again, singers don't need microphones to be heard. Any singer...

    Subjects for Music People

    Haha, nice choice of subjects!
  15. Emma-Jayde

    Anyone play the fiddle...

WTF? That made zero sense... Btw, there's no comparison there...A violin kind of needs a bow. Microphones aren't necessary for a singer at all.

    Advice on Getting a Guitar!

Yeah, a good guitar will set you back quite a bit... Ibanez's are nice guitars, as are Fenders. I personally don't like Yamahas, but you might find a nice one if you look around. Alsom try a lot of different guitars, of different price ranges. As Revolution said, the best guitar for you is not...

    Central Coast Anyone?

There's no other way to put this. The Central Coast is a hole. A big hole. A very, very big hole. Then again, if you weren't planning to leave the house excpet to go to the beach, it won't be too bad. But a lot of the beaches are shit anyway.

Engineering seems to be pretty popular, at Newcastle. Also med, teaching and music seem to be pretty popular choices. I'm at Hunter Performing Arts.
