Well, what an unlikely favourite this show has been. I don't usually like crime shows but as you have said before it mixes it up and is not really a pure crime show but ore of a crime mystery. Although I don't do a Bachelor of Architecture, in my opinion those prerequisites are not really a big deal. I am pretty sure they will teach you everything you need to know. Don't not chose the Degree just because you haven't done the prerequisites:).
