Apparently the cashflow was exactly the same as the tute, except they changed the name of the company.

Yeah variances was an easy 10 marks in my exam. Very straight forward, if you spent over 10 minutes learning it.

Are you serious? umm...a lot of the stuff you learn before this is used to build your knowledge to be able to deal with consolidation (tax effect accounting, business acquisition). And what about the fact that it was like 3 (or 4) lectures?

As a note for anyone doing an ACCG subject with MC exams (or MC questions in final), do the online questions in your text (MaxMark or whatever). The questions were taken, word for word, from all the questions from the chapters we did. Luckily I had gone over most of them. :D 1 down!!

I'm a straight accounting major, so missed the 'proper' finance subjects. Can't really comment on the mathsy nature of it.
