    Student ID card

It might be convenient but it is still demeaning. Public transport is for poor people, kids not old enough to drive, and old people.

    Student ID card

    sucks for you
  3. I

    Student ID card

I probably caught the train twice in the last year so I think it is unlikely I will have that problem.
  4. I

    Student ID card

I have never updated my sticker and I always buy a concession when I get the train, although that is not very often.

Is it possible to get pregnant while ....

Yes Evidence: people getting pregnant while on the pill

    Charlie Wilson's War

Saw it. Was ok. Interesting but not really my kind of movie.

    Roadside mounted speed camera

You are an idiot. That is the most obvious place for radars ever.

    studying and uni

I think they recommend 2 hours per credit point... which works out to 12 hours per subject minus however many hours at uni... and I don't think that includes work on assessments... but clearly that is unreasonable.

    "Friend Zone"

To stay out of a girls friend zone you just need to not care about her in any way (and obviously show that in all your actions). I spent 2 years trying to staying out of the friend zone of this girl I know... but it didn't help because I never did hook up with her. I don't think I would...

    UniCentre VIP worth it?

I don't believe you. From a completely practical point of view... I might end up slightly better off but I would rather pay more to not have to take out another card every time I buy something... it is really annoying. If alcoholic beverages count as rebate points.... assuming I consume...

    Q

I hate gaps and I hate going more than a couple days a week. I think I have 11 hours worth of stuff this session... if I could put it all on 1 day from 8.30 - 7.30 with no gaps I would.
  12. I

So how many days do you spend in uni per week?

I don't have all my timetable worked out for this year yet but I think it is going to say I have 3 days... but I am only going to 2 of them... I am lazy and petrol is expensive.

    Please, Help!

This is the only advice I have for you: write shorter posts and maybe more people will be willing to try and help you out.

    UniCentre VIP worth it?

If it's still only $79 or whatever then yes it is worth it. The discount on textbooks alone probably makes it worth it... if you actually buy textbooks and don't get them from somewhere else. Last year I didn't buy all the textbooks and only ate at the unibar a couple of times and it probably...

    Q

You are meant to line up at the unibar. Non first years are allowed to walk straight up to any empty space at the bar and get served right away.

    Timetables

I don't go to UNSW, but I will assume it is similar to UOW in that no ones cares if you turn up to a lecture or tutorial 15 minutes late because you had to walk from the other side of the campus.

Is it safe + good to fly with Jetstar?

Someone I know was told by a Jetstar pilot that it is only a matter of time before one of their planes makes a burning hole in the ground. I don't remember exactly why, overworking pilots to cut costs or something. ...but I am still flying with them in a couple weeks.
  18. I

Has people on the BOS ripping on UWS made you change preferences?

No... because the only reason people are going to UWS in the first place is because they can't get into anywhere else.
