It's a contraceptive pill, that's it's job. If you're using it properly it's like 99.9% effective.

I guess its possible if you werent taking properly, taking it late or even forgeting to take it some days. Its also possible if your doctor is an idiot and the hormone levels are no good for you.

If its working properly then no, it cant happen.

Yes because people don't always use it properly.
This can be because:
(1) They forget a pill
(2) vomit etc and have sex without a condom before 7 days after
(3) Eat or take medicine that interferes and don't realise.

The main reason is people not using it properly, that said its not full proof but the safer and more informed you are the more effective it will be. Read the pamphlet and ask your doc before you take any medicines, even from the healthfood store.

i think the fact that it doesnt say 100% effective is a good indicator.

also they just released a study like YESTERDAY which says women on the pill whose boyfriends/husbands ARE wearing condoms are still getting pregnant lots.

so lyke. no sex k?

That is why you should only have sex after marriage and you love your partner very much. Why is this? Because contraceptives are one of the devils tools to get mankind to exploit their premarital sexual urges.

My mum got pregnant with me whilst on the pill.

No form of contraception is 100% effective.

nothign is 100% effective, thats why a combination of things is good.

Although it suprises me when i hear that some people can't use a condom properly etc. Unless it breaks (which i cant actually see happening - i mean people put them over their heads without breaking) then i cant see any other reason how it could be ineffective.
