    text books

I don't think you will need to keep your physics and chem books or any High school boks for uni, you get them when you get to uni.

2002 Distinguished Achievers list (as an MS Excel file)

I wonder if anyone who gets a clerical recheck ever actually gets their mark changed.

    What uni you off to?

I went with my instinct and chose Usyd over UNSW, it just had a better environment and atmosphere to it.

    4got To Apply!!!!!

It's very difficult to apply now and get any offers, because most offers are made in the main rounds.

    King Lear

Yeah the thrust of the king lear module is how you would produce king lear, look at eyre's version and peter brookes', also need to know about different interpretations and critical readings. Yes, I think is was the most difficult module and text to study.

    Eco ppl...this is for you

I agree, you have to get into the habit of being independant and finding stuff for yourself, cause that is what Uni is like.

People who got >90 in subjects: how did you study?

The two or 3 weeks you have to study before the HSC exams begin.

How did you choose your UNI course?

Yeah I spoke to the guy at sydney and he said the same thing. I only chose commerce/adv maths cause I looked at everything else and through a process of elimination looked at what was best for me, and what I would like to do for the rest of my life (chose my course based on what I liked and was...

    Orientation Week

Yeah I got on with the Andrews guy pretty well, yeah mine wasn't an interview either, he just looked at my forms told me a bit about the college and that was it and he said my results and stuff were impressive. Don't worry, private school ppl aren't that bad, in fact I got on better with them...

    Orientation Week

Yeah I sent in my school reference, and two other teacher references which I thought were pretty good. I think I would also fall down in the cultural part of things, I mean I don't really like art (even though I said I had an interest in it on the appli. form.....so much for sucking up), but...

    moving out

Yeah I guess, that is what it really comes down to.

    Orientation Week

Yeah I know, it looked better than andrews from the outside. I'm really into sports such as cricket, tennis and soccer, pretty good academically (UAI = 98.5), so i can't see how I can't get in really..u just don't know though.....I always prepare for the worst. I would be used to meeting...

    Orientation Week

Yeah you probably will. I went to an interview for Andrew's last week, said I was with a very good chance of getting in, and I got a Wesley college interview next monday. If I get an offer from both I think I will choose wesley, as it is closer to Usyd.
  16. U

    moving out

ok i'll check that, btw is it hard to get into Wesley?
