    Subjects ! =(

Just weigh up the pros and cons. Would you bother with all the troubles of a new school in exchange of doing the subjects that you desire? Decide yourself :)

    What is your motivation?

And imagine if you get the same mark both times. Or even worse, lower marks. What pain would that be. :S

What to expect from James Ruse.

   As LottoX said, really, Ruse is just another school, what's the fuss? As I know she goes to Ruse. Obvisouly, on what grounds would she post about the school otherwise? I'm sorry, but it seems to me that you're the one saying that people "aren't up-to-scratch"?

    induction inequality question

Where did you get root(2uk) < 2 in your last step? You're supposed to show it, not sub it straight into the inequality :) For the last step, I'd probably do: From the inductive hypothesis, uk = root(2uk-1) < 2, And uk+1 = root(2uk) = root[2*root(uk-1)] < root[2*2] by inductive hypothesis, =...

    What are your dropping???

From your comments on each subject above, looks like you're leaning towards dropping Bio. What aspects of it do you particularly "hate"? Since you're coming first, there must be some parts of it that you at least don't mind. Or you could just keep all of them and decide some time later in year...

    bio or physics ?

There there. Join the club. :o The physics teacher said at the beginning of the year that we *might* do Astrophysics. He lied straight to our face! :( Why must he raise false hopes then dash them so cruelly?? >.<'''

Preliminary is over, how do you feel?

    Westpac Mathematics Competition

I thought they changed the percentages for HD and D for the Senior division, starting from this year?

Help- Next years HSC subject selection

Apparently, according to my physics teacher, a bunch of biologists revised the physics syllabus :mad1:

    How was your school day?

Last day today for me :p Just watched year 12's Mock Assembly, apart from a few technological hiccups it was good. Especially when they had this teacher character chasing a year 7 around the school XD

    bio or physics ?

You pain :mad1: I'm here TRYING to do Astrophysics and you're complaining about it. x.x

    Study methods

^Or maybe you just like the feeling of having music in your ear :p

Help- Next years HSC subject selection

Gee, same here. I just feel like murdering the idiot who set that compulsory rule :mad1: But I guess it's important. But only to such extent to be tolerable as a compulsory subject, not as a subject that has to count towards your UAI :S
  14. airie

    Urgent.

Just do it anyway. Not exactly to every single trivial step like simple arithmetic calculations, but just make sure your marker can follow it. I get told off for "lack of working" :p
  15. airie

    bio or physics ?

Saves me the trouble :D :p
  16. airie

    classical music?

There's an alternate explanation: you're both weird :p JK :D
  17. airie

    How was your school day?

    Good to hear :)
  18. airie

So has everyone done all the HSC subject selections?

We picked our subjects in week 5, but you could still change it, I guess. But I'd prefer picking the subjects after getting results for the yearlies, like at my cousin's school. We handed in the form even before the yearlies began.

    bio or physics ?

That was just an example Wooz

Good luck :) Mine was...two weeks ago. Hum. o.0 And btw, don't be late - you wouldn't like the frantic feeling seeing people already starting to work while you just walked into the room :mad1:
