    ^Just cram, huh? :p

    Help?

    ^Nope, it's just x^3 + y^3 = a^3, no absolute values. So what went wrong?

    Induction help!!!

You need to deduce that the statement to be proven holds true for k+1, if it is known that it holds for a number k. What is the question?

    School break?

When you do, I wouldn't know what to think. First there would be this "Good luck Class of 2006" banner at the top everywhere. Then a few frantic months of exams. And suddenly, "General Discussion on the 2006 HSC" will change its name to "General Discussion on the 2007 HSC". Just like how...

    English Advanced & Standard

I thought it was just three. One of them from my school too :p

    School break?

Bleh. Just pulled another all-nighter. There you go, my last all-nighter wasn't that long ago...:p Meh, should've studied though. Or more like, slept. But, being me, I just wasted the whole night away...<.<

    Help?

o.0 BOTH negative and positive? Wouldn't that be two graphs then?

    Help?

From Cambrudge Year 11 3u textbook, exercise 10F, Q11: Basically, it involves sketching the graph of x3+y3=a3 where a is a constant, but my graph looks different from that in the answers section. And I can't figure out why :o (Note: I'm assuming that a>0 here, same as the textbook. The sign...

    Harder 2 Unit Topic: Trigonometry

Heh, yeah, Paint is the most convenient tool that also boots up the fastest :D Got the same as SoulSearcher. Using cosine rule on triangle BDE to get DE=sqrt21, then sine rule to get angle DEB to be arcsin(2/sqrt7). As angles BEC and BCE are 60 degrees (equilateral triangles), 180 degrees...

    How to Improve in English?

The only thing that I can find in my mind that will relate to "integrity" is "data integrity". And that's IPT. :o

    English Advanced & Standard

I guess people think it's easier to get higher bands in Adv than in Std judging from the percentage of people getting those bands in each course. Then again, it depends on the individual themselves, you have to admit that there the more able students tend to do Adv than Std. Not to mention that...

Will I be able to do well?

    ^I think so too :uhhuh:

    School break?

I've been bludging to such an extent that I'm starting to feel ashamed myself :o

    how is ext. 1 ? help !

o.0 If you'd already learnt more than of the prelim 2u stuff, surely you'd do fine in 3u...you could cope with the stuff you've seen, right? Anyway, just do it. You can always drop it if you don't like it :D

    First Principles..

^Isn't that where you divide the area under the curve into infinitely many strips and take the limit of both its upper bound and lower bound? Surely it should be somewhere in a year 11 textbook...

    What should i be getting?

^That's helpful :p But really, the cutoff for Band 6 is different each year. Are they MC tests? If so, I'd take a wild stab and say probably 17 or 18, but don't quote me on that :p

    year 11s going into yr12

Same. When I'm actually fully alert and ready to study, mum comes and forces me to sleep. And I feel sleepy in the afternoons anyway, with or without eight hours sleep the night before :o

    year 11s going into yr12

*cough* But it wouldn't matter if you don't have school the next day :p ... Even if you did, uhh...so what? *shifty eyes* (Hmm...haven't done it for over a year or so, actually...:p)

    Harder 2 Unit Topic: Trigonometry

I can't even understand the first question :o For the second question, see diagram attached. I've only drawn the parts concerned, not the whole lot. And I'm being lazy here, just giving the method :p Say A and B are two points of contact on the loop with two of the strings, and the loop is...

Whoaa.. muck up day was insane

Wow...people threw eggs? The year 12s at my school just had toilet paper all over the place XD And all of us year 11s were to serve their garden party, quite boring at first to just sit around waiting for it to begin :p
