Things that distract you from study

Sleep TV - especially Foxtel Downloaded TV shows that are on my computer Computer - Games, Internet Xbox Lunch Pool Table Constantly having people in my house playing pool

    No more Africans

No, I am not changing my views. I am only arguing that we don't have a responsibility to save African refugees by allowing them all to come here. I'm not agreeing with the article. I still don't think muslim immigration is a good thing. We aren't denying people the right to live without being...

    No more Africans

Maybe not. If you think you have a responsibility to save people then that is fine but you don't get to decide morals for everyone else. No, but if we let too many in that have no interest in integrating and don't speak English it is going to screw things up. It is not about my couple...

    No more Africans

No, I don't have a heart. 000 is not the same thing. Who decided that "we are human therefore it is our responsibility to save all other humans." That is bullshit. We don't have that responsibility. Morality should not come above self preservation.

    No more Africans

I don't think its our responsibility to help out refugees no matter how genuine they may be. If they are incapable of integrating then they shouldn't be allowed in. If somehow it was making a difference then I might have a different opinion but there are so many genuine refugees around no how...

    Hours to study per night

Maybe not completely but definitely in comparison to the importance of effort it is basically irrelevant.

    Highest paying/best university degree

That is the dumbest question ever. You could do the "best" degree there is and start with a comparatively high salary but not progress a whole lot further in your career. or You could do a fairly poor degree and start with a comparatively low salary but end up making a million a year.

    Hours to study per night

Maths may be an exception... but a lot of it is still memorising stuff.... and not everyone does it either so you can't judge the whole HSC on it. There is no debate to be had. The HSC does not indicate intelligence. You can argue otherwise all you like but you would still be just as wrong.

    2007 NRL Thread

I thought the ref did pretty well. I only remember two bad calls. Near the start of the game Manly had a goal-line dropout despite the fact that it was an obvious knock-on by the Storm. Crocker's tackle on Stewart. Not because it was late, but because I thought the rule was that you...

    Hours to study per night

I don't count studying while doing other things as studying. So whether you read or make notes, follow the syllabus or textbook or whatever you are going to benefit about the same. Intelligence only matters to a point. If you are a complete moron then obviously you are going to have a hard...

    Hours to study per night

When I was in year 12 I went to sleep close to midnight and got up at 6, but staying up until midnight had nothing to do with studying. You should get the right amount of sleep for you. So 7 - 9 hours if you are an average person. You shouldn't sacrifice sleep for study, you should sacrifice...

    Reputation?

It's better than UWS. If UWS is your only other option then it is worth driving an hour and a half for.
  15. I

    Hours to study per night

Hours of study is the most important factor though. Methods and efficiency are important but not nearly as much. Intelligence is almost irrelevant.

    2007 NRL Thread

I have never liked the night time grand final but this year it really ruined the game for me. It didn't feel like a grand final at all. It just seemed like another Friday night game. They need to change it back to an afternoon game.

Master Of Business Administration (MBA) questions

You need a bachelors degree with an average of 60% or better and at least 2 years relevant work experience. UAI is irrelevant. 18 months full-time or the part-time equivalent http://www.uow.edu.au/handbook/yr2007/pg/gsb/UOW008040.html
